We are losing ground, too many untold stories of the courage, leadership, and contributions of black Americans remained locked in archives and obscure libraries. The Story of Us
offers young people an opportunity to connect with the resilience, faith, and hope of African Americans from a wide range of life experiences backgrounds and time periods. Bringing to light overlooked African American contributions to science, commerce, education, medicine, religion, sports, and the arts our history can be brought to life with workshops, speeches, and events.
