We are losing ground, too many untold stories of the courage, leadership, and contributions of black Americans remained locked in archives and obscure libraries. The Story of Us offers young people an opportunity to connect with the resilience, faith, and hope of African Americans from a wide range of life experiences backgrounds and time periods. Bringing to light overlooked African American contributions to science, commerce, education, medicine, religion, sports, and the arts our history can be brought to life with workshops, speeches, and events.

Juanita B Johnson is known as a cultural educator and dramatic storyteller. Her presentations and programs on African American pathfinders delivered through the art of storytelling and visual displays, educate and pass on time-honored African American values and standards through the sharing of rich and engaging biographical tales. Audiences feel the lesson of responsibility, commitment, and determination found in the lives of numerous American trailblazers who happened to be of African descent from the sciences to the arts. Each themed program highlights a unique and different aspect of African American culture. Johnson's true stories are enjoyed by audiences of all ages and are perfect for youth development groups, educational institutions, and community organizations.
